Corporate Social Responsibility
Approach to CSR
The TANAKA Precious Metals plans and executes mid-term business plans to promote the three key businesses of precious metals for industrial products, assets and jewelry and to grow as a global company. Under this plan, the TANAKA Group continues to respond to the trust and expectations of customers in a rapid manner as a leading precious metals company. In addition, we will promote sound business activities, and fulfill our social responsibility as a member of the local communities in which we operate not only in Japan but also in the overseas bases. We aim to establish global presence by contributing to the realization of a prosperous society and a beautiful future for the Earth supported by precious metals.

Nowadays, both in Japan and overseas, companies are required to reflect compliance with law, protection of human rights, improvement of the working environment, environmental preservation, protection of consumers and contribution to the local community into their management activities. Accordingly, companies now need to consider impact on their stakeholders more carefully and enhance their commitment to CSR activities. In fiscal 2019 as well, we promoted CSR activities on the basis of the seven core subjects of ISO 26000, international guidelines on social responsibility.
