TANAKA will address grievances (including whistleblowing) from internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with the following response mechanism (grievance mechanism) to promote the early identification, prevention, and reduction of potential risks in its supply chain and to realize responsible minerals sourcing.

Counterparties, executives and employees of TANAKA, and other stakeholders.

◆Management System
Under the guidance of compliance officer of TANAKA, the supervisory department in charge of due diligence regarding transactions involving minerals sourcing will act as the secretariat and implement overall management to ensure smooth execution of the response to the grievances.
◆TANAKA's Response Upon Receiving Grievances
1. Acceptance of Grievances
The secretariat will promptly review the content of grievances registered through the dedicated form and accept grievances that align with the purpose of the system.
2. Investigation
The accepted grievances will be examined fairly, impartially, and sincerely. Based on the content, the necessity of a response or investigation will be determined. If an investigation is required, TANAKA will ask relevant internal departments to provide materials and information.
3. Notification to the Informant
If personal information is provided by the informant and an investigation is to be initiated, TANAKA will notify the informant accordingly, and may request additional information if necessary. If the investigation requirements are not met, TANAKA will thus inform the informant.
4. Corrective Measures
If illegal activities or misconduct by TANAKA are identified, TANAKA will initiate corrective measures and measures to prevent recurrence.
5. Notification of Results to the Informant
Once the investigation is concluded, TANAKA will inform the informant of the investigation results and any corrective or preventive measures taken.
◆Protection of the Informant
The informant will not be subject to retaliation or unfavorable treatment for making a grievance.
◆Protection of Personal Information
TANAKA will take responsibility to control any personal information provided by the informant, which will be used for the express purpose of replying to the informant`s grievance. Personal information will not be used for any other purposes or released to third parties (excluding the joint use by appropriate departments of TANAKA).
◆Confidentiality of Information
Information provided by the informant will be managed as confidential and shared only with the minimum necessary stakeholders to confirm and resolve issues.
◆Records
Documents and records created in accordance with this policy will be stored by the secretariat in accordance with internal regulations.
