Caution Regarding Fraudulent Advertisements and Solicitations Falsely Claiming to Represent TANAKA

September 18, 2026

We have become aware of cases involving fraudulent advertisements that make unauthorized use of the TANAKA name and logo, as well as solicitations by individuals falsely claiming to represent TANAKA or to be TANAKA employees or affiliates, as described below.

Fraudulent Advertisements Using the TANAKA Name and Logo

We have identified fraudulent advertisements on the internet and various social media platforms that make unauthorized use of the TANAKA name and logo and falsely appear to be campaigns conducted by TANAKA, including advertisements promoting “Special Campaigns,” “Limited-Quantity Sales,” and similar offers.

These advertisements have not been issued by TANAKA or any TANAKA Group company.

Solicitations and Business Proposals Falsely Claiming to Represent TANAKA

We have become aware of cases in which individuals falsely claiming to represent TANAKA or to be TANAKA employees or affiliates have approached people with proposals for partnerships, franchise opportunities, or other arrangements related to the precious metals recycling business.

In some cases, business cards, business plans, and other materials bearing the TANAKA name and logo have been used, and individuals have been asked to make payments under the pretext of security deposits, equipment investments, or other expenses.

TANAKA has no involvement whatsoever in these solicitations or business plans.

Please exercise caution regarding any suspicious communications or advertisements, and do not provide personal information or make any payments. For accurate and official information about TANAKA, please refer to the information published on our official websites.
