 Fundamental Principle |

| Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo K.K. (hereinafter "TKK") shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and its related regulations. TKK will establish and maintain a system of rules that are in keeping with international trends and standards. TKK will endeavor to familiarize all employees of TKK to recognize and pursue the importance of protecting personal information and hereby declares to implement and maintain policies on the protection of personal information as defined hereunder. | |

| 1. | TKK shall make certain that the purpose of any personal information obtained or collected by TKK is made clear in advance and that any intent to disclose or entrust such information is also clear to the individual. Upon consent of the individual the information shall only be used appropriately within the extent of the purpose other than such disclosure as required by law. TKK will set up an in-house management system for the purpose of making sure all personal information is not used beyond the extent of the expressed purpose. |
| 2. | In the event that the personal information collected under the preceding clause is disclosed or entrusted, in whole or in part, to a third party to the extent necessary for business purposes, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure the contracted party selected upholds the highest level of preventative standards. |
| 3. | TKK shall manage in an appropriate manner all personal information collected and shall make every effort to prevent the loss, damage or leakage of such information through the implementation of preventative procedures and a security management system. In the case a problem occurs, prompt corrective action shall be taken to prevent a reoccurrence. |
| 4. | TKK shall implement a system of procedures to act promptly to any inquiries and complaints regarding personal information held on record. |
| 5. | TKK shall establish, operate, maintain and continuously improve the management system of protection of personal information in order to comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and/or government-designated guidelines and other regulations referring to the personal information handled in business and the personal information of employees. |
