To All of the Valued Customers, Suppliers, Business Partners and Friends of the Tanaka Precious Metals Group

On behalf of each of the Tanaka Precious Metals Group Companies, and all of our executives and employees, allow us to extend our profound gratitude for the expressions of solidarity and support communicated to us from so many of you.

In the midst of this great tragedy, the Tanaka Precious Metals Group Companies have been extremely fortunate in having suffered no loss of life or significant damage to plants or offices. Nevertheless, as a result of the scope of this terrible disaster, the Japanese government is in the process of implementing a number of necessary decisions relating to the allocation of resources and the conservation of energy. These may impact to some extent, over the short term, the ability of some of our member companies to make shipments of products as originally scheduled or to make purchases of products as originally forecast. We ask for your patience and understanding. However, please rest assured that all of our executives and employees are doing their utmost to resolve these logistical issues and will work to meet our commitments with the minimum possible degree of disruptions to you, our most valued customers, suppliers, business partners and friends.

So many in Japan have not been so fortunate, and Japan will undoubtedly rely on the goodwill and support of the international community, of which you are an important part. Through this crisis, the companies and individuals that make up the Tanaka Precious Metals Group Companies have become even more mindful of the important debt we owe to this community and of our obligation to continue to make our own contributions to it.
