Both small and light, PEFC provide high levels of power. They have become the focus of attention predominantly in connection with fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) and portable home power sources. Expectations are high for a new and environmentally-friendly power source utilizing the chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen.
We have combined precious metal catalyst technology and electrochemical technology, both of which we have developed over a number of years, and
have succeeded in developing highly activated catalysts for cathode and highly CO-tolerant catalysts for anode of PEFC.
