A new metal honeycomb-structured catalyst system capable of maintaining stable, lean combustion.
This combustion system causes the fuel on the catalyst surface to react with oxygen in the air to produce thermal energy. Stable combustion can be obtained at low fuel-to-air ratios not possible with conventional diffusion flame combustors and NOx emissions can be restricted to very low level. Current research and development are providing new combustion systems for all types of fuels.

Classification
High temperature combustion catalyst system (possible of combustion higher than 1000°C).

High temperature combustion catalyst system: Gas turbine power generation, gas burner, etc. , alternative for current burner.
Middle, low temperature combustion catalysts: Heating of PC reformer, dry/burning heat source, etc.
