Metal honeycomb, PHC (Pre-Heater and Catalyst), High active precious metal catalysts removes VOC gases at high efficiency.
Oxidation catalysts (Pt, Pd fine particle) dispersed on the metal honeycomb have large surface area and various features in comparing with catalysts on other structural support.

Features
High activity because wall surface area of metal honeycomb support is 50% larger than that of other structural supports in the same cell density.
Fine precious metal particles exposed on the surface of the structural honeycomb because washcoat layer is very thin. These particles are utilized as catalyst effectively.
Low-pressure drop caused by low blockage ratio.
Available for various size.
High resistance for thermal shock and mechanical stress.

For wafer level CSP
PHC is constructed catalyst unit with pre-heater and MH catalyst in the SUS304 stainless tube. The feature of PHC is easy to mount in the exhaust line and is easy to oxidize break down of VOC gas.
